Does resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger than the original adds no detail, so upscaled images look soft; this tool lets you do it but keeps the original pixels when you shrink.
What size should a product photo be?
Most marketplaces ask for at least 1000 px on the longest side so shoppers can zoom; 2000 x 2000 px is a safe square for Amazon, Etsy and Shopify.
