Questions
What is the difference between flipping and mirroring?
They are the same thing: a horizontal flip mirrors the image left to right. A vertical flip turns it upside down.
Why is my phone photo sideways?
Phones often store the photo unrotated with a note saying how to turn it. Some apps ignore the note; rotating here saves the pixels the right way up.
